Projects

The best things in my life came from just doing what I love to do. I often didn't known why I'd chosen a certain path but I trusted that things would click to their place. And from my experience, most of the time they do.

A great example of this is that for a very-very long time I honestly had zero clue why the flying fuck I did a master’s degree in electrical engineering. Of course “systematic thinking” (the standard explanation of accidental engineers) helps the job of a product designer, but other than this I really had no idea if this thing will ever be useful for me.

But then, again for the nth time in my life, things magically clicked to place when about four years ago I discovered a new passion that perfectly blends electronics, design and music: designing and building electronic instruments. Since then, I’ve been learning physical product design and re-learning electronics to create custom analog and digital synths and stuff under the name of Shmøergh. As of now, I have no plans with this beyond having as much fun as possible.

All projects are open source with schematics and code so anyone can build it.
